BALSALL COMMON CENTRE MASTERPLAN PROJECT

Balsall and Berkswell Parish Councils have accepted the final report of consultants Ove Arup working in conjunction with Urban Silence, producing a masterplan for Balsall Common centre.   The plan proposes improved public spaces to modernise the centre and make it fit for the settlement of now and the future.

The parish councils, residents and consultants worked with SMBC and used support from the GBSLEP Strategic Economic Plan Enabling Fund in addition to parish council funds to pay for the work.  The project engaged all stakeholders and has produce a costed delivery plan with indicative sources of funding.

The plan was formally submitted to SMBC on 23 March 2022.
